I have a story inside of me

A story I need to tell

A story I yearn to tell

I have a story inside of me

And yet I can’t get it out.

I can’t write it down.

Sometimes when I go to do it

I get lost in a mess of jumbled details

Sometimes when I go to do it

I just freeze up

And cry

But I have a story I yearn to tell

Or at least I did.

Now I just don’t know

Why
